A fine chromian vesuvianite crystal from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. It is sharply terminated long prismatic crystal. It has from apple green to grass-green color due to chromium. The quality is very good – it is gem at the tip to translucent at the lower part. The faces are lustrous and strongly reflect the light. Rare chromian vesuvianite from this great now closed mine.
