Very rare combo specimen of miersite, cuprite and silver from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Russia. Miersite is very uncommon mineral and Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit has produced excellent examples. Miersite is rich yellow and botryoidal. It grows on sharp and lustrous dark cuprite octahedrons. On a strong light the crystals display some rich wine-red hue. Some silver is seen too. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. Some damages.
