Marvelous and sharp pyrite crystals from this now closed zinc mine famous for pyrite - Nanisivik Mine, Nunavut Territory, Canada. These polar Canada pyrites are very distinctive. The crystals are lustrous and shiny cubes with brassy yellow color. They have pretty beveled edges. On the back side are seen calcite crystals. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
