A cool specimen of vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They have from purple color to apple-green at the tips. The crystals are gemmy with a glassy luster and strong light reflection. The vesuvianite crystals are well shaped and sharp with point tips. The vesuvianite is very fresh and sparkling. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Marvelous!
