A killer specimen of orange colored grossular garnet crystal of 13mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystal is 8.15 carats, transparent, gem quality with a strong glassy luster. It has a rich color and rhombic dodecahedral habit with sharp crystallization and pretty edge modifications. It has nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – the back is attachment. On acrylic base.

Stunning!
