A killer specimen of gemmy dioptase crystals from this uncommon locality - Loutete, Bouenza Department, Congo - Brazzaville. The dioptase crystals grow in a sculptural and three dimensional cluster. They are brilliantly lustrous and strongly light reflective. Some of them are doubly terminated. The color is intense and rich emerald-green, much better in person than on the photos. The crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon green nuances. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
