An outstanding and fine quality specimen of quartz var. faden from Dera Ismail Khan District, Pakistan. It is formed by razor sharp, flat tabular quartz crystals growing on very elongated prismatic quartz crystals stems. They are completely transparent, water-clear and perfectly doubly terminated. Truly remarkable is the sharpness and the complex multiple terminations. The crystals are with glassy lustrous faces. The main tabular crystal forms an attractive focal point. Complete all around 360 degree piece. In excellent condition – some minor contacts. On acrylic base.
An exquisite, top example of this mysterious quartz phenomenon!
