A beautiful presentation of cool sphalerite crystals nestled among quartz crystals and calcite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. At the heart of the piece is a sharp, jet-black sphalerite crystal, exhibiting well-defined, lustrous faces with intricate growth patterns. The high reflectivity and geometric structure of the sphalerite add depth and dimension to the overall composition. Surrounding the sphalerite are delicate, elongated quartz crystals, radiating outward in a brilliant cluster. These quartz points are transparent. Adding further contrast, colorless calcite crystals emerge gracefully from the matrix, displaying well-formed structures. Small pyrite crystals are seen too. In very good condition – some small damages.
Exquisite!
