A gorgeous crystal of the famous iridescent "rainbow" garnet var. andradite from Kohse mine, Tenkawa village, Japan. It has a pleasing tobacco color with razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. It has a striking and colorful natural iridescent coating. The locality is strictly prohibited for collecting so the specimens are rare. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
