An extraordinary masterpiece of bedazzling and impressive mirror lustrous spinel law twin galena decorated with colorful siderite or dolomite (needs to be examined)  from Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest galena in the world and this is a killer specimen. It displays sharp, well formed superb flat faces galena twins with an excellent brilliance and light reflection. The spinel twins are very thin stepped plates, staggered one after another with like tooled tips. They grow vertically over the base in isolated plates which gives very sculptural and three-dimensional display. Small quartz crystals enrich nicely the display. Black, tetrahedral and lustrous sphalerite crystals form the base. The superb finish to the specimen is given by a partial coating of small and sparkling orange-cream crystals of siderite/dolomite. The harmonious combination of minerals in this specimen makes it a standout display piece. Its high-quality crystallization, unique textures, and provenance from the legendary Madan district make it a must-have for every top collection. It shows beautifully all over 360 degree.
