A stunning and highly sought-after specimen of azurite crystals, aesthetically perched on a green malachite base from the renowned Milpillas Mine, Mexico. The piece features striking, well-terminated, and complete tabular azurite crystals that are brilliant and highly lustrous. The color ranges from deep to vibrant electric royal blue. The green malachite base provides a perfect contrast, highlighting the azurite beautifully. The azurite crystals at the top create impressive focal points, visible from all angles. For references see the 2021 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 52, # 5. In excellent condition – one crack that may have been stabilized or repaired. On acrylic base.

Magnificent and highly prized by collectors!
