An absolutely gorgeous and amazing single gem tourmaline var. chrome tourmaline crystal from the famous Merelani Hills, Tanzania. It is 15mm, razor sharp with a beautiful trigonal form and doubly terminated – almost a complete floater. The quality is exceptional – a gem crystal with intense and saturated grass green color and a glassy luster. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In excellent condition – some small attachment points. With acrylic base – not glued.
