A beautiful specimen of hematite var. iron roses sitting aesthetically over K feldspar var. adularia crystal from the classic and famous Morchnerkar, Austria. It shows rare black flowers formed by parallel hematite plates. The iron roses have an excellent quality with sparkling faces, which strongly reflect the light. They have hexagonal sharp shape. Colorless and sharp crystal of K feldspar var. adularia gives a strong contrast. It is highly lustrous and transparent. Green chlorite group mineral, muscovite crystals and small golden rutile needles are seen too. It displays on both sides. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
This piece exemplifies the diversity and aesthetic beauty of alpine mineral associations, combining sharp contrasts in texture, and form. The balanced arrangement and pristine condition make it a highly desirable addition to any collection!
