A cool specimen of honey-orange grossular garnet crystals to 7mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are transparent, gem quality with a glassy luster and rich color. The crystals have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystallization. They have nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. Some green diopside is seen on the back side. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
Marvelous!
