A gorgeous specimen of proustite from the famous classic locality Bad Schlema, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany. This is an old specimen from this closed mine – it comes from shaft #366. The crystal has a good luster and a rich blood-red color. It has a good prismatic shape. The most amazing aspect is the quality of the proustite – it is transparent and gemmy. In order to preserve the color it must be stored in the dark. In very good condition – some micro nicks. On acrylic base.
