A beautiful specimen of aragonite var. lead-bearing aragonite crystals (called also tarnowizite) decorating green malachite from this famous locality – Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The lead-bearing variety of aragonite is much rarer. It displays sharp, prismatic, hexagonal tarnowizite crystals. They are translucent to transparent and gemmy with a strong luster. They are colorless and some caps are white. They sit very well isolated and the green malachite gives a strong contrast. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.

Fantastic!
