A superb specimen of pyrite crystals from the famous Merelani Hills, Tanzania. Merelani Hills are mainly known for tanzanite, but the locality has produced fine pyrite pieces too. The brassy pyrite forms sharp crystals with an uncommon habit. They are strongly lustrous and light reflective with a pleasing yellow color. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
