A marvelous specimen of orange colored grossular garnet crystals to 4mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are transparent, gem quality with a strong glassy luster. They have a rich orange color - pure orange water. The grossular has a sharp crystallization. It has nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some minor nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Pretty!
