A killer specimen of gemmy dioptase crystals from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The crystals are strongly glassy lustrous with a gorgeous and rich emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly doubly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances. The specimen exquisite. Much better in person (especially the color). In excellent condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts.
