A splendid and rare specimen of mushroom-like tourmaline var. rubellite from one of the most unusual tourmaline finds of all time in Momeik Township, Myanmar. It displays a trigonal rubellite cap with a rich raspberry color. It is waxy. The stem is black tourmaline var. schorl. The specimen is very pleasing. It is complete all over and very well shaped. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
