A fine specimen of honey-orange grossular garnet crystals to 8mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are transparent, gem quality with a glassy luster and a rich color. The crystals have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystallization. They have nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. It displays attractively on both sides. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some side contacts. On acrylic base.
Fascinating!
