A beautiful specimen of azurite with malachite pseudomorph and quartz crystals from Mecissi, Morocco. The transparent quartz crystal is partially covered by lenticular azurite forming nice rosette aggregates with a dark royal blue color. Some azurite zones are pseudomorphed by green malachite. This gives a superb contrast. The quartz crystals are razor sharp and well formed. It displays from all sides. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
