A superb specimen of gem baryte from this famous Saxon locality - Pohla, Germany. It displays beautiful clusters of intergrowing crystals on a base. The color of the baryte is simply amazing – golden amber, very saturated and striking. The barytes crystals are very sharp and well shaped, extremely lustrous, completely transparent and gem. Most crystals are doubly terminated. It shows attractively on both sides. In good condition – some small damages.
