A colorful specimen of garnet var. uvarovite from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. It displays a base covered with uvarovite in crystals to 3mm. They have a strong brilliance and luster combined with a deep intense grass-green color. The crystals have a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit – very sparkling and shiny. The bottom is sawed.
