A cool specimen of cuprite var. chalcotrichite over native copper from New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Arizona, USA. It displays very dense clusters of fibrous hair like chalcotrichite needles. They have a rich and saturated red color with a strong sparkling appearance. Small crystals of copper form the base. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
