A fine specimen of vanadinite crystals with calcite from a superb find in San Carlos Mine (Apex mine), Chihuahua, Mexico. These are considered to be among the best vanadinites ever found in Mexico and North America. It displays a cluster of sharp hexagonal prismatic crystals. They have a vivid orange-brown color. The crystals have a great luster and a fresh appearance. They show a parallel growth. Colorless calcite rhombohedral crystals add a nice accent. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Mesmerizing!
