A killer and highly desirable specimen of azurite crystals beautifully growing on a small base from the famous Milpillas Mine, Mexico. It displays marvelous, well terminated and complete azurite crystals. They are brilliant, lustrous and sparkling. The color ranges from dark to intense electric royal-blue. Green malachite pseudomorph the top of the main crystal. The white base underlines very well the azurite, giving a strong contrast. The main crystals at the top form an excellent focal point. For references see the 2021 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 52, # 5. In excellent condition – some natural imperfections. On acrylic base.

Outstanding!
