A marvelous specimen of galena decorated attractively with quartz crystals and sphalerite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very neat and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned galena crystals overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop other forming amazing terraced structures. The faces are matt lustrous. One dominant quartz crystal forms an excellent focal point at the top. It is transparent, sharp and lustrous. Small black sphalerite crystals are seen too. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
