A beautiful specimen of red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of vanadinite, growing on a base from the famous Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The vanadinite crystals have an intense red color to some orange nuances and a strong, glassy luster. Some areas are gemmy. The crystals are sharp and well isolated. The piece is fresh and sparkling. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In very good condition – some small damages.
Fantastic!
