A fascinating specimen of bright, metallic spinel law twin galena decorated with quartz and calcite crystals from Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest galena in the world and this is a marvelous specimen. It displays sharp, well formed, flat faces galena twins with an excellent brilliance and light reflection. The spinel twins are thin stepped plates, staggered one after another with like tooled tips. Colorless quartz needle crystals grow above together with white calcite. It shows attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition.
