A gorgeous and unique rose of tourmaline var. dravite var. chromium-bearing dravite from Voi, Kenya. We obtained this specimen labeled as dravite from Kenya. Some similar specimens come from Mogok Township, Myanmar. Some of these specimens from Myanmar are sold as tourmaline var. fluor-uvite but an analyze shows that they are dravite. It displays a gorgeous flower formed by parallel dravite plates. The rose has an excellent quality with sparkling and strongly lustrous faces. Some areas are gemmy. The color varies from grass green to light green. It shows all over. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
