A gorgeous and rare specimen of mushroom-like tourmaline var. rubellite from one of the most unusual tourmaline finds of all time in Momeik Township, Myanmar. It displays a trigonal rubellite cap with a vivid, saturated and rich raspberry color. It is waxy lustrous and sparkling. The core has a black tourmaline var. schorl forming an attractive phantom. The specimen is very colorful and pleasing. It is a complete all over floater and very well shaped. In excellent condition. With acrylic base – not glued.
