Outstanding crystals of the famous iridescent "rainbow" garnet var. andradite from Kohse mine, Tenkawa village, Japan. The crystals have a very good size - to 14mm. They have a pleasing brown color with a razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and a strong luster. They have a gorgeous natural iridescent coating. The locality is strictly prohibited for collecting so the specimens are rare. In very good condition - some base contacts. On acrylic base.

Superb iridescent andradite!
