World grade quality specimen of rare pink colored grossular garnet crystals to 3mm, beautifully growing over white diopside needles from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The garnet crystals are very glassy, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and marvelous pink color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The color is very tender and combined with the excellent gemminess make it an outstanding specimen from this closed mine. It displays aesthetically on both sides. It is fluorescent. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Killer pink beauty!
