A nice specimen of rhodochrosite crystals with quartz from Pasto Bueno District, Peru. It displays translucent rhodochrosite crystals to 7mm with pleasing cherry-red color aesthetically growing among quartz crystals. The deposit has produced these treasures around 1980 and pieces like this have always been scarce. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
