A superb specimen of lazulite crystals from famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The lazulite crystals are sharp, highly glassy lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo-blue color to 11mm big. The crystals have gemmy areas with marvelous royal blue nuances. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In good condition – some outside edge contacts.
