A colorful specimen of rich honey-orange grossular garnets to 10mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are transparent, gem quality with strong luster and deep saturated color. The crystals have a sharp crystallization. They have nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
