An aesthetic specimen of tourmaline var. elbaite crystal of 39 mm decorated with muscovite and albite from Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan. The elbaite crystal has a color variation from very dark green (almost black), to apple-green at the cap. The crystal is well terminated. It is opaque but the cap is gemmy. It has a good luster and surface striations. The muscovite crystals are rhombohedral and well shaped. The albite is transparent to cloudy and lustrous. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
