A marvelous specimen of razor-sharp axinite-Fe crystals from the classic type locality - Le Bourg-d Oisans, Grenoble, France. The crystals are transparent and gem, with a cool clove-brown color. The clarity is amazing and the faces are extremely glassy. Some transparent quartz is seen too. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
