A nice specimen of rhodochrosite crystals with polylithionite and aegirine from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays sharp rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals with a pleasant red-brown color. Small black aegirine needles are seen too. The polylithionite forms rosettes with shiny and light reflective faces. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
Pleasing!
