An outstanding and very rare combo specimen of opaque, and slightly pinkish to white grossular garnets crystals associated with wollastonite from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. It comes from the renowned collection of Francesco Spertini, Quebec, Canada – no label. The garnets are opaque and porcelain, with a strong luster, and sharp rhombic decahedral habit. White hair like wollastonite grows above. A remarkable specimen from the closed Jeffrey mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition - some outside edge contacts.

Exceptional!
