A striking specimen of chalcopyrite iridescent in glittering purple, when properly lighted, from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The chalcopyrite crystal is lustrous and strongly light reflective. The purple is extremely saturated and electric on a strong light. A nice addition is cubic galena and sphalerite. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
