A beautiful specimen featuring cuboctahedral fluorite crystal on calcite and quartz base from the famous Shangbao Mine, China. The fluorite crystal of 40mm has rich dark purple cores, forming attractive phantoms, surrounded by light purple zones around. The crystal has a very complex, stepped cuboctahedral shape with a good  luster. Aesthetic calcite scalenohedrons and quartz crystals form the base and give a good contrast. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
