A gorgeous rhodochrosite stalactite with a rich pink-red color from the famous Capillitas mining district, Argentina. This is the only place where the rhodochrosite stalactites are found.  It displays a concentric bandings (agate like) with different color intensity – from white to red. On the back are seen small sparkling Pyrite crystals. It is a part of stalactite and polished. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
