Superb specimen of enargite crystal with chalcopyrite coating from Julcani Mine, Peru. The piece comes from the collection of Bruno Cerato, Viu, To, Italy - no label. Some of the finest enargites came from this locality and this is a choice specimen. The black enargite forms a sharp prismatic crystal of 25mm with a flat tip. It is completely coated with yellow chalcopyrite. Some micro crystals of pyrite sparkle all over.  Colorless quartz is seen too. Some damages. On acrylic base.
