Exceptional thumbnail specimen of extremely rare pink-peach colored Grossular Garnet crystals to 8mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. It comes from Rene St-Cyr pocket. The Garnets form a cluster of extremely glassy, transparent, completely gem and water clear crystals. They have a superb luster and incredible rich pink-peach color. Some of them have small green cores which are result of Chromium. They are with perfect and razor sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The gorgeous color combined with the amazing gemminess make it remarkable specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
It is truly a chance to have such rare world quality beauty!
