Top specimen of Garnet var. gem Andradite var. Demantoide from the famous Malenco Valley, Italy. It comes from the collection of Chiara and Daniele Respino, Italy, with a label. On the base sit two clusters of Demantoid crystals to 3mm with rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are lustrous, light reflective and slightly gemmy. The color is pleasing apple-green and the crystals are sparkling. In excellent condition.
