Outstanding specimen of gem Baryte from this famous Saxon locality - Pohla, Germany. It displays beautiful clusters of intergrowing crystals on a Quartz crust. The color of the Baryte is simply amazing – golden amber, very saturated and striking. The Barytes crystals are very sharp and well shaped, extremely lustrous, completely transparent and gem. Some crystals are doubly terminated. The chunky Quartz crystals base has cubical cast shape due to unidentified crystals which have been dissolved. It shows attractively on both sides. In good condition – some small damages.
