Exceptional Rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. It displays transparent and gemmy Rhodochrosite crystals up to 22mm with intense cherry-red color and sharp scalenhedron shape. Some crystals are doubly terminated. The faces have good luster. The Rhodochrosite crystals are well isolated and they grow on black botryoidal manganese which gives a strong contrast. In excellent condition – some outside edges contacts.
