Outstanding specimen of impressive bright, metallic Galena cubes on a Quartz base from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Beautiful display of razor-sharp and well formed cubic crystals with excellent brilliance and matt luster. The Galena crystals are up to 18mm big, growing in well isolated clusters. They have very interesting skeletal features and cool penetration twinning. Many corners are truncated. One twinned Sphalerite crystal with good luster enriches the stand. Superb display from many sides. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts.
